The MHG-LARGE is a large-capacity NLR Returns recycling box designed for collecting and shipping larger volumes of smaller lamp waste in a durable 24" x 16" x 24" container. Built for convenience and dependable transportation, the box includes a plastic liner and waste-specific labeling to help simplify lamp recycling from your facility to NLR’s recycling plant. Ideal for compact lamps and other non-broken lamp waste that fits securely inside the container.

Yes, our permit to operate is strictly enforced by regulatory agencies including EPA and Connecticut DEEP. Only include the product listed on the container or additional cost will apply.
Waste streams must remain separate and be placed exclusively in containers approved for their specific product. For example batteries are prohibited from being mixed with light bulbs.
Follow the details specifically on the container for a step-by-step instructions.
Place safely into the box with the broken side facing up. Wear protective gloves to eliminate cuts or abrasions. Please note that incidental breakage is allowed, however fully broken (crushed) lamps are probative from shipping through NLR Returns.

The UPS Returns label is securely placed on the container by the NLR Fulfillment Center. If the label is torn or unusable contact NLR at info@nlr-green.com. Additional costs may apply.
NLR has contracted exclusively through Unishippers / UPS for the best rate and handling process. If you elect to send it back via another carrier the package will be returned at your expense.
Once the product is received and processed the COR will be emailed to the details we have on file.

By using any NLR Returns™ product or service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
RETURNS
Unused containers may be returned within 3 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and may not use the provided pre-paid return label for this purpose. Returns must be shipped to the address below to receive a credit or refund:

COMPLIANCE & RESPONSIBILITY
Keep the container lid closed and secured always except when wastes are actually being added to or removed from the container. NLR provides DOT compliant containers and packaging specifically designed for the shipment of universal waste such as (light bulbs, dry cell batteries, non-PCB lighting ballasts, mercury-devices, and electronics / e-waste) provided that all items are properly packed and sealed according to the instructions and guidelines. All returned universal waste is recycled in compliance with applicable Federal and State RCRA and Universal Waste Regulations. Processing will be in accordance with NLR Permit to Operate No. 04701160-PCO issued by Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.
CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
Customers must use NLR Returns™ containers only for the approved universal waste types and must follow all packaging and shipping instructions included with the product. Do not exceed the container's specified capacity. Pre-paid UPS® shipping labels are valid only for use with NLR Returns™ containers and associated contents.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Additional fees may apply if any of the following conditions apply:

If lamps are not properly packaged using the included ShatterGuard™ inner liner.

If waste volume exceeds the container’s capacity.

If supplied tape is not used to secure the ends of the boxes before returning to NLR for processing and recycling.

Other universal or off-spec waste in comingled in the container.
NLR reserves the right to refuse any non-compliant shipments or apply additional handling charges.
DISCLAIMER OR LIABILITY
NLR, Inc. is not liable for any damages special, incidental, or punitive that may arise from your use of the NLR Returns™ program at your site or 3rd party location.
INDEMNIFICATION
NLR, Inc. agrees to indemnify your organization (including its officers, agents, and employees) from any claims, losses, or damages—including attorney fees—resulting from injury or property damage directly caused by the proper and intended use of the NLR Returns™ program once received by NLR personnel or employees. This indemnity does not apply in cases of:

Failure to follow NLR's written instructions and guidelines.

Negligence or willful misconduct by you or your representatives.
ACCUMULATION START DATE
You are responsible to write in the Accumulation Start Date (the date collection of waste begins) in the space provided on the attached Universal Waste Label. Containers must be shipped within one year of this date to remain compliant.
CERTIFICATE OF RECYCLING
A COR (certificate of recycling) is issued after processing and will be issued and available for review.
