Packing Lamps
When Packing Linear Lightbulbs.

Identify Box Orientation
Lay the box flat on a clean, dry surface. Locate the top and bottom using the NLR Returns logo as your guide.

Build the Bottom
Fold flap B over flap A to form the base. Secure with one of the provided tape strips, applying it within the marked area.

Insert the Bag and Divider
Fully open the ShatterGuard™ bag and place it inside the box from the top. Insert the Z-shaped(If provided) divider so it fans out and locks the bag into place on both short sides.

Insert the Bulbs
Carefully insert lightbulbs vertically into the bag to minimize breakage. Do not overfill.

Label the Box
As soon as bulbs are added, fold the ShatterGuard™ bag over the bulbs and write the accumulation start date on the white Universal Waste Label.

Assemble the Lid
Fold the highlighted flaps inward to form a C shape. Then fold down to create the first protective layer.
Note: All used lamps must be shipped within one year of the accumulation start date.

Close the Lid
Fold in the side flaps and insert the 1.5'' tabs tabs into the marked slots to secure the lid. Repeat this step each time you add bulbs.
For compliance: Keep box closed at all times when not being filled.

Seal the Box
Once the box is full or ready for shipping, tape along the top seam as shown in the diagram. That's it-you're good to go!
When Packing Non-linear Lightbulbs.

Identify Box Orientation
Lay the box flat on a clean, dry surface. Locate the top and bottom using the NLR Returns logo as your guide.

Build the Bottom
Fold flap B over flap A to form the base.

Secure the Bottom
Secure bottom with one of the provided tape strips, applying it within the marked area.

Insert the Bag
Fully open the ShatterGuard™ bag and place it inside the box from the top.

Load Bulbs
Carefully insert lightbulbs into the bag to minimize breakage and write the accumulation start date on the white Universal Waste label. Do not overfill.

Close the Box
Once bulbs are added, fold the ShatterGuard™ bag over them and repeat this step each time you add bulbs.
Keep the lid closed at all times for compliance.

Seal the Box
Once the bag is full or ready for shipping, tape box along the top seam as shown in the diagram. That’s it–you’re good to go!
